Thanksgiving Offerings

If you’d like to partner with Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist Church in connecting our church and community to Christ, here are the ways you can do so. When you give, you plant the seeds that will enable us to grow in our community and provide a church home for you and others.

Thank you for answering the call to contribute to God’s work.

Use one of the four methods below to return your tithe and give your thanksgiving offerings!

Use Adventist Giving – our online giving platform

We use an online service provided by the North American Division called Adventist GivingThis is our preferred method for you to give your tithe and offerings.  You can also designate additional funds to various church departments or activities – the same way you can on the tithe envelope. It’s very simple to set up, even on your mobile device.  If you don’t see the special project you are looking for on the Adventist Giving website or in the app, please email

Cashapp your offering to $Metro7Church

In the “For” line, put your name and what your gift is for (tithe, combined budget, etc.) so you are credited correctly.

You may also use PayPal (Metrosda) for your giving

The postal service still works

Mail checks only please to:

Treasury Department
Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist Church
6307 Riggs Rd
Hyattsville, MD 20783

Give during our 9:15 and 11:45 a.m. church services

This option is not available while we are worshipping virtually.

Tithe envelopes are in the pews.  You can use the envelopes to specify your tithe amount and designate which departments you’d like your offerings and other contributions to support.  Any monies not specifically earmarked for a specific cause will go to support the church’s combined budget.

Receipts for Charitable Contributions

Typically, receipts for charitable contributions are issued at the end of January.

Our preferred method of distribution is email, but you may also elect to pick up your receipt in person.

Receipts are only issued to persons who request them.
